When a pool needs new tiling
Removing and replacing mosaic runs about EUR 60 per m2 with render and waterproofing included. An 8×4 m pool is roughly 60-70 m2 of wetted surface, so the figure follows from the size of your pool rather than from a guess. We confirm it after seeing what is under the old surface.

How the work runs
Drain and inspect, strip the old mosaic, repair and re-render, waterproof, lay the new tiling, grout, then refill and rebalance the water. Two to four weeks for a normal pool, longer if the pipework or the plant room is replaced at the same time.
Choosing the tiles
Glass mosaic in 2.5 x 2.5 cm, porcelain mosaic, or larger-format porcelain, plain or blended. Colour decides how the water reads: sand and light blue give a turquoise pool, grey and green give a darker, more natural one. We bring samples to the site visit.
Grout is what fails first
Ordinary cement grout gives way to salt and chlorine within a few seasons, and once the joints go the tiles follow. On the waterline, where the load is worst, we use epoxy or the manufacturer’s pool-grade grout — that is exactly where most re-tiling jobs start.

When a membrane is the better answer
If the shell has moved with the ground, a reinforced PVC membrane is often safer than new mosaic: welded on site into one watertight skin, forgiving of hairline cracks and quicker to install. We tell you which of the two your pool actually needs before quoting either.
Who does the work
The crews are ours, not subcontractors: nineteen people who have worked together for years across the Costa Blanca and the Mar Menor. The same foreman who measures your pool is on site while it is being built, which is why the schedule we hand you in writing usually holds.
